What is the difference between Private Courses & Group Courses?
Private courses are one on one instruction. Group courses are with a group of students. Private and Group Courses have a General Forum to communicate during the week with each other and with your instructor. Only Private students get the option of live chats either by Skype or Text and it is up to the student and Instructor on the time of chat. Private student should receive 2 live chats per 6 week course and 4 chats per 10 week course. It is up to the instructor if you chat more. Skype Chats are for 30 minutes and Text Chats are for 60 minutes. There are no live chats in Group courses which means no set times to meet. Both Group and Private do receive Voice-Overs for videos submitted.
What is the Video Sharing Program?
I have many videos for you to watch on horses that don’t understand the tasks, so you get to see what it would really look like to teach a horse Clicker Training. Send me your videos. Film your horse and show me how you are working with your horse. I will go over them and send you a voice over of your video with suggestions and comments. Don’t have a camera. No problem. I have many videos to go over with you to better help you through the process.
How do I submit a video to you?
You can post your video’s in your class General Forum. I get notified by e-mail that you have posted. I take a look at your video, then send back comments either by voice or by text. You receive and e-mail that I have commented on your video. Press play and listen to comments or read the text sent.Please limit your video’s to 30 minutes per week.
What if I want to take a break from my course?
If you are in a Private Course you may take 2 breaks from class. We understand the weather is not always the best. Please contact your instructor at least 1 day before you take your break and schedule a start back time with your instructor. You cannot take a break in Group courses unless all students agree on the break. A break means you are out of class and there will be no correspondence at all between you and your instructor.
Can I get a refund if I decide to not take the course?
You will only receive a refund if you have not been given access to the course. If you have accessed the material, there will be no refunds given. If you do not have access to the information you will receive a full refund, if requested within 7 days of purchase.
What if I have an emergency and have had access to the material, but can’t take the course?
If you have access to the material and are unable to take the course and it is before your course start date, you may reschedule at no additional cost. You have up to 1 year to retake your course. If you would like to upgrade from Group to Private you must pay the difference in cost.
What if I am in my first week and can’t finish the course? If you are in Group course you can’t reschedule or get any refunds. If you are in a Private Course you may reschedule.
How long is the course open after the end of the course?
All courses are open 30 days after your end day for you to finish up your course. There will be no general forum or chats after your end date with your instructor. You may submit assignments after your end date.
What if I would like more time to finish the course?
You may retake any course at a discounted price. All Private CT1 Courses can be retaken for $100 all Private CT2-4 Courses can be retaken for $200 for 10 weeks – 5 weeks extensions are $100 for CT2-4. This includes both Group and Private courses.
Do you give certificates?
Yes, you will receive a certificate if you complete all assignments. If you do not complete all the assignments it will be up to your instructor if you receive a certificate.
