Ever wondered what clicker training is? Don’t know where to get started? Have you tried it, but not really sure when you should move onto new and more difficult criteria? This class is for you!
Leslie gives you the info you need to start clicker training ( text & video), plus there’s a forum where you can ask all the questions you want! But the BEST part is the feedback on your videos! Having Leslie give you feedback that is in time with your video is an amazing tool!! I was familiar to clicker training, but often got stuck, I would just run out of ideas, I didn’t know really what to teach next, and always thought that maybe I didn’t ‘get’ it, or my animal didn’t ‘get it’. I was stumped & frustrated! Having Leslie personally tell me ‘hey maybe try this next time’ or ‘good, that was the right thing to do’ was priceless! I feel like my skills have grown more in one week than in the last year reading books!! Plus it was FUN & stress free!!
Plus you can tell that she absolutely enjoys this! Her enthusiasm is very clear in her kind voice, it’s almost like having a good friend that is just as excited about clicker training as you ( except they know more than you!! haha!).
I highly recommend this class for any equine ( I’m clicker training donkeys), Her courses are definitely on my list of goals! I cannot wait to further my ‘clicker education’ and the bond with my donkeys!
Thanks Again Leslie! you have an awesome program, I can’t wait to attend a course in the future!
Would this be accessible on my iPhone?
Yes it is accessible on iPhones.
Hello, you say this is a one week course, but what happens if you just can not do this course within the week due to full time work and just a busy lifestyle. Can you take a little longer. I am having holiday over Christmas, can I sign up now and do the course over the Christmas Period.
Look forward to your reply – Wanda, Australia
The Course is is 7 days. Please e-mail me the dates that work for you and I will see if I can get it on the schedule.
Thank you so much for the free course! I’d LOVE to take this class but am leaving the country on the 8th. Will you be offering this again or is there a way I can pull up the info once I return home?
Thanks again!
Tanya
Thanks Leslie for offering this introductory course. I am grateful for all of the time and attention that you spent with our work this week.
I enjoyed the group format and found following the progress of the other students through their posts to be quite helpful and supportive. Your communication and voice files during the course were much appreciated!
I want to compliment you on the well thought out materials that you provided to us for this work. I have enjoyed the hand-outs and the videos. I especially liked the video on watching the herd.
I like the idea of starting at the beginning and feeling secure that I have my bases covered and have not missed a step in an inadvertant rush to move on to the next step. Thanks again for your time and support.
Just finished with the free 1 week online course. It was very informative for the beginner (which I definitely am) and I just want to thank you for all the time you take to help us newbies out. I want to take the 6 week class but sadly have to spend the money on other people ( LOL )…since it is Christmas and all
But I will be saving money for the future! For now I have your book and the things I learned from your voice over of my video, so I will try to go ahead, until I hit my next brick wall ! Once again, thank you for this opportunity and for making me only more hungry to go and work with my horse, as sometimes motivation is hard to come by (especially when it is only 10 degrees outside some mornings
Are you going to do this again? I just found your web site.
I am very interested,
Thank you,
Jill
Yes, I am taking students for my next free course. Sometime in Mid January 2012. If you want on the list let me know.
Thank you.
Leslie
Intro course in March was a nice review of clicker training for me. Thanks for sharing. Some of the videos on the website gave me some new ideas to play with. I’m not a good distance learner, though, especially with experiential stuff. One of the benfits of doing this course is that I’ve resolved to figure how how to make videos and post them! Thanks again, Hedy
